Eligibility

01

U.S. students not requiring sponsorship for employment visa status, now or in the future

02

Open to all majors; strong focus on business-related and/or technology-related majors

03

Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better

04

Open to all applicants regardless of race or gender (or other protected status), including students who identify with historically underrepresented groups, such as Black and Hispanic/Latino candidates

FRESHMAN JUMPSTART
 

A three-part virtual summer series designed to introduce first-year undergraduate students to the financial services industry. 

Program Highlights: 

  1. Learn about BNY’s businesses through spotlight events that dive into specific lines of business across our company as well as highlight sought-after skills in potential candidates.
  2. Attend professional development mini workshops on topics such as: personal branding, building your professional network, and setting yourself up for success as an undergraduate and beyond. 
  3. Be considered for our Sophomore Summit Program. 

Eligibility:

Undergraduate freshmen pursuing a bachelor’s degree at an accredited college/university with expected graduation date of December 2026 or May 2027.

SOPHOMORE SUMMIT

 

An immersive full-day workshop designed to prepare you for a career in the financial services industry.

 

Program Highlights: 

  1. Learn about BNY’s businesses through rotational sessions and discover which area of financial services best suits your skills and interests.
  2. Gain firsthand perspectives from senior leaders across the firm.
  3. Participate in resume writing and mock interviewing workshops with members of our campus recruitment team.
  4. Be considered for our 2025 Summer Internship Program. 

Eligibility: 

Undergraduate sophomores pursuing a bachelor’s degree at an accredited college/university with expected graduation date of December 2025 or May 2026.
